NOTE: If you are a follower of my blog, I will always be keeping this article at the top as I feel its message is extremely important for newcomers to read. The article after this one, and all ensuing articles do not have their post dates modified so they are reorganized, as this one is.
Our nation has many problems that need to be addressed; issues that we cannot take affirmative action upon in a divided, partisan society. Issues such as crime, illegal immigration, our huge sum of debt, a health care and welfare system that is a complete mess, and a national identity that has fallen apart. This blogs purpose is to address the issues that we must respond to and how we must respond to them. This blog aims to bring to light our division to make us strive to unite. If one looks at our society today; at the media and our politicians that person can see that our nation is no were near united. A truly united America would allow progress to take place. A truly united America can revive a withering patriotic brotherhood. A truly united America is achievable if we only believe in it.
The people are divided: democrat or republican. People do not simply define themselves as American. National brotherhood has withered due to both liberals and conservatives working against one another. Most voters only vote for representatives in the party of their allegiance rather than actually inspecting the candidates and determining who can best get the job done. When there are shifts in party allegiances, it is almost always in response to an event in recent history. What people fail to recognize is that switching sides because a party made a mistake is not always the correct solution. When a mistake is clearly made, both parties see it for what it is. Most people do not decide their stance on issues by determining what is the best solution, but rather choose to vote against the party that in recent history at fault. As long as our nation is divided into two parties most people will never learn to listen to both sides of an issue. The constant qualm between both parties has made one’s party more defining than ones nation. Patriotism is slowly dying, but we can save her. When someone talks about how great America is and uses our nations grandeur as a defining line for setting great goals, don't label that person a flag waiver! That person is a patriot.
People's diversities only further separate each other in the modern world. Race and religion are both viewed as important aspects to ones allegiances. Whether you're Christian, Jewish, African-American, Hispanic, or whatever- as long as you are an American citizen all that should matter to the public eye is that you are an American. There are so many labels that we have all created to diversify ourselves. What we have failed to acknowledge is that by further unifying ourselves, we can celebrate our diversity: if we all just put our nation before our roots then it shows how our nation is a great melting pot of cultures and how so many different roots and backgrounds come together to make one America- the greatest and most powerful nation on Earth.
Our representative system has fallen to much corruption. It’s a shame when our representatives are not representing, but selling out to corporations. On top of that there is no such thing as an unbiased press. Whether you read FOX, CNN, MSNBC, or whatever it is all biased. So what are we to do? We must stay headstrong. We must not turn our backs to such problems. We must explore options and be open to listening to other sides of a debate. We must be willing to admit to ourselves that we are human, and as such both sides of an argument will make mistakes at times. If we only opened our eyes to the world around us, educated ourselves on current events, and made a joint effort to work together then our world would be a lot less corrupt.
God bless America.

An End To American Partisanship: A United America.

A BiPartisan Solution To Government Spending and Taxation
The following is from a blog on CNN:
In behaving as such Obama is a hypocrite. He asks us to put aside partisanship, yet blames Republicans for blocking his package. Republicans do not control Congress. Here are the figures:
Obama, you silly partisan, blaming the Republicans for blocking your package. In this vote the democratic party, not the republican party is divided. And why is that? Because clearly not all of the democrats, and hardly any to zero republicans in congress support loan enhancements. The people have elected their congress, a democratic congress, and the democratic congress has voted in opposition to its Democratic leader. And then Obama tells Republicans to put aside partisanship? Hypocrisy!
If Obama were a real anti-partisan, a President who is willing to put aside his bias to work together he would see that bills such as these are not what most of our nation wants. He would recognize that government spending overall adds to our deficit. Even though he wants to keep spending, members among his own party want him to stop. If Obama were really for bipartisanship, and not just one side, he would see that the majority here is in favor against what he is pushing for. If he were really for bipartisanship he would not be throwing the blame at Republicans, furthering the partisan divide.
A typical liberal would argue that a big part of the reason we have our deficit is because of tax cuts which were a bad idea, while on the other side a typical conservative would argue for tax cuts and against government spending.
In the end of the day, the true anti-partisan approach, a united American approach, would be to meet both ends. Not to completely cut taxes and not to completely cut government spending, yet still to cut both. We can follow both lines that the Democratic and Republican parties preach without radicalizing ourselves to one stance. We can work together to solve our solutions, and then not have to worry about them being backtracked when a new regime comes in four years later with a partisan, one sided, solution.
Government spending in social services should be cut-money spent on social service programs steered into improving our quality of life. Government spending on foreign investments are purging our coffers as well, and should also be redirected.
Too much of our tax money goes into social services such as health care and welfare. If we redirected that tax money towards other programs, social services industries can be privatized. Government should not dabble in social services. Right now health care and welfare is a mess, money going down the drain. Building such programs is a move towards socialistic methods of governing, away from the freedom of industry our founding fathers molded this country into. Away from good old capitalism. Remember- no matter how much intervention the government tries to throw into the mechanisms of the economy in the end it is the private entrepreneur that recovers the economy, not the unmotivated man on welfare.
Too much of our tax money goes to foreign handouts and sending our soldiers to die on foreign soil. That is wasted money. Our tax money should go into domestic problems that aren't social issues, into creating solutions for a better quality of life.
What does that mean, you ask? How does one define a better quality of life?
Quality of life involves many factors: wealth being the obvious one. However the most important aspect of quality of life is security. Reducing crime rates ensures a better quality of life. Working on water and electrical services, as well as fixing and building roads creates a better quality of life. A cleaner environment and cleaner air amounts to a better quality of life. All of these things our government programs do not address to the extent that they should, and they are all things we need to work on.
One could argue that turning away from socialistic methods of governance such as free health care is also a partisan stance, as it involves turning our back to the many people who support socialistic programs. However we must remember that encouraging people to look to the government for welfare checks and giving free health care takes away initiative to participate in the modern world's industrial jungle and earn a living through passionate pursuit of a career. Working hard to achieve success in the market has always been both an American and a Capitalist value, and is in opposition to Socialistic values. That large sum of people, unemployed and on welfare, are not acting like true Americans. America is a capitalist government, and socialistic methods of governance are not what this nation was founded on. Socialists and Capitalists working together will always be partisans. We need to find a partisan solution, a Capitalist partisan solution.
If we redirected the money we spend on social services and foreign handouts into fixing our quality of life we would have extra to make tax cuts. That would be a partisan solution. That would keep government spending, instead of eradicating it, moving it to were it's more needed. To were it won't add heavy loads to our already massive debt and deficit. That would not completely remove taxes, but wouldn't raise them either and would not allow them to remain at their current high levels. That is a bipartisan approach.
God Bless
"Obama said the legislation should be Congress' first order of business when it reconvenes this month. Legislators, he said, need to "put aside partisanship and be the leaders the American people need us to be."He directly accused Republicans of blocking the $55 billion legislation package. Senate Democrats are hoping to OK the package and get it to the president's desk well before November's midterm elections.
Among the provisions in the bill are loan enhancements that would double what small business owners can borrow"
In behaving as such Obama is a hypocrite. He asks us to put aside partisanship, yet blames Republicans for blocking his package. Republicans do not control Congress. Here are the figures:
Party - Senate - House
Democratic - 57 - 255
Republican - 41 - 178
Independents - 2 - vacant
Democratic - 57 - 255
Republican - 41 - 178
Independents - 2 - vacant

A Number of Causes Are Eroding Our National Unity
Citizens are being overloaded with burdens that our constitution never even authorized.
Our judiciary is corrupt: with judges depending on the will of political parties, they go for the popular vote.
Our soldiers are subject to taking injuries in foreign countries, playing our nations politics with their lives.
An average citizen works hard just to pay heavy taxes to support welfare programs and handouts to foreign nationals.
Our President acts as if it is his duty to step in foreign affairs and spend our tax money on other nations. He's not the leader of the world, he's the American President! The world doesn't pay taxes every year to stock the Presidents treasury, we do! We provide those funds to support our interests first. If your home and family were in danger, there should be no question as to where your immediate attention should be. Putting your nose to the American grindstone first should be obvious!
Our nation is broke, and complaining is not going to solve anything. We need to actively pursue solutions or we will keep sliding deeper into debt. A bipartisan system does not allow solutions to be sought. One administration may spend four years utilizing a strategy to help our economy, but four years doesn't cut it, and when that administration is replaced by one on the opposite side all the work previously done becomes undone. Four years of working one strategy only to have all of it scrapped and replaced with a new strategy for the next four years accomplishes little to nothing in comparison to how much we can achieve if we all just worked together.
We must stop lending to other nations. America has been the most generous nation in all of history. Americans willingly sacrificed their lives, money, and futures to remove oppression from foreign soil. After liberating Europe we asked for nothing in return: not land, not servitude, not even money. We need not bow to no political game, our history has earned us that right. Our history needs no apology.
Obama is concerned that America is not a very good global partner. Our critics need to remember that Americans shed their blood fighting for global freedom. Our soldiers brought globalization, the result of planning by politicians to break down borders hampering trade, to increase prosperity and interdependence in Europe. Our contributions have brought their prosperity. We have done so much for the world, we should be allowed to focus on ourselves for a while now.
We need to bring an end to our welfare state. It is self destructive. Every person with a problem shouldn't be sanctified and labeled a victim. Sanctifying people as victims of society removes their incentive to work, and do their part for our economy. People who have refused to be victims are the ones that succeed; our nation was built and preserved by such people. Bipartisanship does not work: we are standing in the cesspool of divisive politics and policies. We need to return the principles of self reliance and personal responsibility to our nation.
Do not mislabel love of pride and country as a political game, or politically incorrect arrogance and extremism. And God bless America.

Let's Root Out The Faults in the Tea Party
Although many here on the west coast in California see the Tea Party as radical, fear mongering, ultra conservatives, the movement has some great ideas to bring that it highlights. Most people see the negatives in the movement, and it makes seeing the positives a lot more difficult, even if they are blatant.
The Tea Party is an umbrella movement- and as such it encompasses many different political views. This is great as it has allowed ideas from all over to sprout up, however it also contains controversial ideas that followers rally behind. These are the tenets of the movement that are making us take steps backwards from achieving unity. These principles cause many who look at the movement to immediately discard it as a radical organization.
First I would like to point out the socialism scare. The fear mongering that corrupt ultra conservatives, such as Glenn Beck, throw out to gain media attention. Many people within the Tea Party believe President Obama is gearing our nation towards socialism. Now it is true, if someone eighty years ago wanted to create free healthcare in our nation that person would have instantly been branded a socialist. It is true that our nation has created more socialistic methods of governance such as welfare. Liberals would call this progressive, and conservatives would call this unconstitutional. Both sides have a good point, as it is great to help the downtrodden, yet turning a private industry into a government controlled public one is socializing that industry. But that is not the point I am making here, I will save that for another article.
Now if you are reading this and think to yourself, well I know for myself that Obama is an evil socialist and I need to educate the world on this issue! I'll take whatever political strategy I want! Then it may appear we have met a dilemma, that we have reached a point in which partisanship is appearing amongst our own. Let's not be hypocrites, lets not be partisans. If you are a Tea Party patriot and you believe that we are heading into a socialist revolution, don't go spouting to the world the word SOCIALIST! Don't go picketing and write on your sign that socialists are taking over the government. All you are doing is turning people off of the more important aspects of our movement. People hear you bawling about socialism and instantly think our movement is wrong. Whether you like it or labeling socialism is viewed by independents and liberals as radical fear mongering. Instead of labeling people socialism, indicate the facts- how our government is intruding into private sectors of industry. We cannot let ourselves be a radical movement, or even be viewed as one. A radical movement will never achieve an end to partisanship. We must all find a path in which we can work together, and sometimes keeping your fears private is a part of doing so.
Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck are not the people we should rally behind. Many Americans view Beck and Palin extremely negatively. Glenn Beck is considered a man who uses the media to play off of uninformed conservatives with information that is twisted and sometimes flat out incorrect. The general public views Sarah Palin as a joke. Palin quit her job for which she was elected, slapping the entire state of Alaska in the process, just to make money and attain fame through the Tea Party. Beck feels out ideas and then runs with one once he finds some backing for it: he failed at asserting that Obama hates white people when he felt resistance, so he dropped that and switched gears. Palin and Beck are seen by the left, independents, and even many conservatives as leaders of the blind and ignorant. Whether you like them or not does not matter, what does matter is what America thinks. Fellow Patriots, we must drop these two candidates as our spokespersons as they only do us further harm. If we are to end partisanship we must be willing to work with everyone. The first course of action to do such would be to no longer rally behind these two figures. Any less would be hypocritical, and far from taking strides towards a national unity.
Social issues must be tackled as well. Many within our midst oppose same sex marriage, abortions, and civil unions. Many want to ease gun control laws. These are issues that should not be highlighted in our movement. These issues are matters of ones opinion, and are not things that can be changed by debate or factual evidence. These are not issues that should be decided by the federal government, but left to the states. Including such topics as tenets of our movement will turn away people who believe otherwise from joining our movement. We could never be a non-partisan movement if we highlight such issues. We shouldn't be a movement that only appeals to conservatives, but rather allow independents and liberals to join us into one umbrella movement for all Americans. By doing so we can focus on the important aspects of our movement.
Although religion is a great thing, as it guides people to follow good morals and act as good human beings, religion should not be a front to our movement. The left and independents see that as radical, and fear us as hyper religious freaks. We will never get anywhere with that kind of label.
As long as we there are beliefs in the tenets of our movement that many people consider radical we will be partisans. This is a non-partisan movement, let's not be hypocrites.
God bless America.

Both Conservative and Liberal Press Have Been Extremely Irresponsible Covering the Ground Zero Mosque
The point of this article is not to take a stance on this current event, but to show you how both the conservative and liberal press have skewed the information for the public. This is an extreme case of irresponsible reporting and both sides are to blame. Read this article, see the fallacy our press has created, and then decide what you think of the situation for yourselves:
In recent news a mosque is being built over what people allegedly consider to be part of Ground Zero: where the World Trade Center fell on September 11, 2001. There is a whole controversy on whether it is appropriate to erect such a mosque in such a location.
Most people will go to CNN, FOX, MSNBC, or whatever their news source is and take a side. If you only read FOX you're probablyh going to take the conservative side, and if you only read CNN or MSNBC you'll probably take the liberal side. Now why is that? Why does every press source seem to make you take a side on this issue? I'll tell you why- it's because all of our media's press reports irresponsibly. Today there is no such thing as an unbiased news source.
If you read about the Ground Zero mosque from both conservative and liberal news sources you may notice that the definition for Ground Zero is different on both sides. The liberals call Ground Zero where the World Trade Center stood, with the mosque being two blocks away from there. The conservatives, on the other hand, consider Ground Zero to be where the World Trade Center fell and crashed. You would think that a news source would indicate this, but they don't. All media sources take a side. All sources are biased.
Liberal news sources go even further by implying that it is not a mosque but just a community center, with two floors of it being a mosque. This is using worldplay to change a fact. You cannot change a fact. If a shopping center contained a two floor JC Penny it would still be a JC Penny, just as this mosque is still a mosque.
Don't believe me? Robert Schlesinger's article on US News is titled The 'Ground Zero Mosque' Is Not a Mosque (or at Ground Zero). That's funny, they go through the trouble of titling it that when if you read the article it clearly states:
Articles such as ABC news' coverage, take a partisan stance- making the situation appear to be one of race. They talk about racism and bigotry and portray the entire event as hateful to Muslims. This is true to a certain degree- many people against the mosque are simply being racist. However this is still irresponsible reporting.
How is this still irresponsible reporting you ask? While they do show how some conservatives are being racist, they don't cover the entire issue the conservatives are bringing up. They take the unintelligent part of the conservative argument and use it as a counter-argument for the entire issue, regardless of the fact that there is an intelligent and thought out side behind what conservatives are saying.
While many conservatives are just being racist, many see building a Mosque right on top of a place were many were killed in the name of Islam as disrespectful to those who died there. There are hundreds of mosques in the city of New York, and this one has not even begun being built yet. Choosing to build in this location is clearly an attempt to provoke the conservative response to make it appear that Islam is being met with much racism, and it is. However while it is being met with racism from certain degenerates it is also being met with sensibility from others. If my family were murdered by the Catholic Church and then nine years later they decided to build a plaque right on top of where I was murdered, my family would find that extremely disrespectful. The issue is not a matter of race, it is not a matter of legality, it is a matter of respect. Don't blow off the community as racist instead of listening to why this is insensitive and still claim to be tolerant and understanding of others.
How the press reports this issue is another example of why we can't have partisanship. It does not achieve, it only divides. We need to set aside our differences and work together, and create a debate in which parties and divisions do not exist, a debate were you aren't arguing because your party has picked a side but were you are arguing because you view the facts a certain way. Many partisans today could respond to that saying that, that's what they already do, and many do. However many more don't and as long as we keep these divisions our press and politicians will encourage people to ignorantly listen to their side without paying heed to the other.
God bless America

You cannot change a fact. If a shopping center contained a two floor JC Penny it would still be a JC Penny, just as this mosque is still a mosque.
Don't believe me? Robert Schlesinger's article on US News is titled The 'Ground Zero Mosque' Is Not a Mosque (or at Ground Zero). That's funny, they go through the trouble of titling it that when if you read the article it clearly states:
a 13-story building is going up which will contain, among other things, a mosque. This worldplay is despicable. It is the press' responsibility to give us nuetral news, or at least cover both sides of the debate with equal vigor. Unfortunately it seems that such a standard for the press is not possible. All of our news is biased. When liberals say that FOX lies (like Glenn Beck) they are correct, but what they fail to realize is that their news sources are in fault as well. All of our press is to blame. They are all partisans, and do not want to achieve a unity, a point were both sides can work together.
